Description

Agility involves thriving on chaos in an age of discontinuity; generally, it involves strategy and execution/tactics; and specifically, it is the ability of an entity to thrive in a chaotic context. Agility is now being applied to software development where "process transparency" and the ability to define/model, deploy/enact, and manage/monitor processes is paramount. This presentation focuses on defining Agility, and then applying it to the Unified Process (UP) to derive the Agile Unified Process (AUP).

Highlights include lessons learned and practical insight in applying Agility to the UP making it the AUP. Attendees not only benefit by better understanding agility but also how to leverage it in the UP.
