Developing a Structured Standards-Based Process Repository Webinar   Print E-mail

Description

Creating a centralized online process library allows the software development organization to tailor, deploy, and enforce its software development processes more effectively and at a lower cost. This is especially the case when the process repository is defined in open standards. In this webinar we will review a practical step-by-step approach to develop an online repository of software development processes that is both easy to tailor and enact across multiple projects. The webinar is also a good overview of the IRIS Process Author system from Osellus, as this application will be used throughout the session to reinforce the main concepts. This webinar assumes a basic understanding of the Software Process Engineering Metamodel (SPEM) specification from OMG. For an overview of SPEP, please see the on-demand webinar "SPEM Overview".
