TORONTO, CANADA, 5 August 2003 – Two former Sun Microsystems management executives have joined Osellus, an emerging software company that recently introduced the first standards-based process automation system for modeling, enacting and monitoring processes used in software development.

Omid Hodaie, former Canadian Executive Vice President, and Payman Hodaie, former Canadian Vice President of Sun Microsystems will assume the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer respectively, to lead the growth of the company to its next stage of development.

The first release of the company's product was launched at JavaOne in June 2003. The company is now entering the stage of establishing an industry position while defining the market space.

The addition of Payman's knowledge and direct experience in leading the development of large scale packaged enterprise applications will be critical to the ongoing development of Osellus's products.

Omid Hodaie and Payman Hodaie are joining forces with their long-term entrepreneur colleague, Aditya Jha, who now assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer. This same team founded and managed ISOPIA Inc., a highly successful software company that was sold to Sun Microsystems in July 2001.

“It is fortunate that Aditya, Payman and I can work as a team again. Our work at ISOPIA, and then subsequently at Sun, taught us a great deal about building on each other's strengths,” says Omid Hodaie.
