Adobe Flex 3 is an open-source framework for building highly interactive, expressive and immersive applications in Flash that work the same way across operating systems, browsers and desktops. With over 95% penetration on desktop computers, Flash has matured to become one of most ubiquitous interfaces on the Internet.

Osellus has a rich history in building rich, complex, high performance solutions in Flex. Over 6 years ago, IRIS Process Author was one of the first Enterprise scale applications to leverage the full capabilities of the Flash platform using a purely code-based, high performance intuitive graphical user interface built completely in Flex and integrated with a custom remoting solution first on a J2EE back end and later plugged into a ASP.Net 2/Com+ solution.

Since then our Flex team has built up extensive experience in building rich internet applications that leverage the powerful object oriented Actionscript 3 language along with the declarative MXML interface definition language and make use of the rich UI component framework in Flex while applying tried and tested Design Patterns.
