Very interesting paper on Process Tailoring
March 22nd, 2009 by Payman HodaieI highly recommend a white paper titled “Process Tailoring and the Software Capability Maturity Model” by Mark Ginsberg and Lauren Quinn. Although written in 1995, the content of this paper is still very relevant today. The full version of this paper is available for download from SEI (Software Development Institute, Carnegie Mellon University) website. Keep in mind that this is a long paper: 53 pages.
I specially found the coverage of “Tailoring Guidelines” informative. I will get into how tailoring guidelines fit in the overall tailoring process in future posts.

Skip Hop Studio Diaper Tote Handbag is awesome. So many pockets - and not these modest, worthless pockets, either. All of the actual storage compartments tend to be a excellent size and actually support maintain every thing organized. The handles are a fantastic length and fit nicely over the shoulder; the tackle shoulder straps additionally stay place on my own shoulder, which is critical as soon as you’re holding a infant. The bag looks fantastic, too. Not as well fancy, but not as well casual. (I have it in black) The material is soft (can’t feel of a better word) so it is easy to squeeze in to tight spaces - but yet it’s sturdy. I have a Fleurville Lexi carry and I really like it, too, but this tote is actually kind of rigid. I think that Skip*Hop will grow to be my everyday handbag. It’s a little bit huge - so if you are not really in to substantial hand bags this may be superior as an over-night baby diaper handbag.
